Happy September! Even though this year has been anything but normal and has been overflowing with challenges many of us never anticipated, I’m very happy that one of my favorite months is finally here and fall is right around the corner.
Likely due to that back-to-school feeling that I just can’t shake from childhood, every September I feel a renewed sense of excitement, new beginnings and growth. I can’t help but feel a new wave of motivation that I always try to harness for the last few months of the year and this year is no exception. I’m looking forward to sticking to new habits I’ve tried to build during quarantine, continue the new slower pace of life that’s become more common, and never take the little things for granted.
On the fashion front, I’m also leaning fully into some personal style growth and experimenting with new things without fear, while also finding comfort in rewearing some of my tried and trusted pieces. There’s something so wonderful that comes from the familiarity of old clothes and it’s a feeling I’m finding extra soothing these days. So as we settle into September I’m doing my first major closet declutter in a long time and settling into the certainty that only uncertainty is guaranteed - all while looking for soul in everything.
