Even though it still feels like summer here in Charleston, there's no denying that fall is coming. The mornings are ever so slightly cooler and the relentless humidity seems to finally be giving way to delicate breezes. With the impending season upon me, I've started switching my closet over and really honing in on the types of looks I want to create this fall. Like always, I put together a mood board of sorts to help me hone in on the look I'm hoping to achieve and it's making me even more excited for blazer weather! I'm putting the finishing touches of everything today and tomorrow and hope to film it all for you very, very soon.
My color palette this season is like many of my past fall capsules. Thanks to the shades ubiquitous with autumn, I'm going to be wearing black, white, cream, moss and black on repeat with accents of red, orange and burgundy. Also, like most of my capsules many of these colors will be reflected in my accessories while the base of my closet will consist of basic neutrals that can easily be mixed and matched.
To finish things off, I've put together a mood board full of the shades, feelings and experiences I hope to have this fall. From tweed to plaid and apples to pumpkins, I'm looking forward to embracing all things cozy and classic this fall. When it comes to beauty updates, I'm looking forward to wearing my standard makeup look but may incorporate a richer cheek stain that I can wear on the days I don't opt for my go-to bronzed look. When it comes to hair, I'm looking forward to keeping things neat and clean.
