Levi's Are Forever: Part II

Levis 501 CT C Wonder Elephant Belt J Crew Black Purse Salvatore Ferragamo Vara Flats J Crew Tweed Jacket J Crew Perfect Fit T-Shirt Chanel Silk Scarf

I love Levi's. While you know I adore my high-waisted, dark wash skinny jeans from LOFT, I simply cannot live without my Levi's.

The classic wash and cut go with just about anything and the are hands down the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. For this look, I struck a balance between dressed up and casual by pairing my beloved Levi's 501 CTs with a basic black t, tweed jacket and statement belt.

To play up the ankle grazing cut of the jeans, I paired them with my go-to Ferragamo flats that have to be the most comfortable shoes I own (next to my loafers).

Tweed and Pearls

One of my favorite combinations is tweed and pearls. Not only is this dynamic duo timeless, but it always looks polished - even when worn with jeans as I did with this look.

My blazer is an old Zara find and the pearls are my standard J. Crew multi-strand that I wear constantly. To dress down the look a little, I layered the blazer over my go-to navy cable-knit sweater and dark wash skinny jeans. To bring out the gorgeous brown buttons on the blazer and play up the navy in the sweater and jeans I wore my cognac colored ankle booties and matching top handle purse.

Monday Must Have: Classic Barrettes

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 //

When working with a minimized wardrobe I have found that hair accessories are one of the easiest ways to change up my look. Of the countless options (headbands, ribbons, bobby pins), barrettes are by far my favorite and I wear them constantly. Not only are barrettes effortless but they don't require a mirror and most importantly, keep my hair out of my face while looking classic and put together. I love simple gold barrettes but find that tortoise shell options add just the right amount of classic pizzazz to anything I'm wearing and transition effortlessly across all four seasons. My favorites are from J. Crew but I have rounded up some other great options below as well.
