One of my favorite parts about summer is that it has always signaled the unofficial start to the travel season for me. Beginning with Memorial Day, summer travel seems to give way to fall and winter holiday travel in the blink of an eye and this year is already proving to be no exception. I mean, it's not like I'm counting or anything but there are only 11 weeks until the first day of fall, about 20 until Thanksgiving and just about 24 until Christmas.
