The striped tee is one of my top closet essentials. I love that I can wear this classic topper all year long just by swapping my bottoms, shoes and accessories and layering up or down. I also love that despite changing trends, the striped tee always stands the test of time. In honor of this wardrobe wonder, today I'm sharing 5 easy striped shirt outfits that are perfect for August. First up is one of my favorite combinations. A classic striped tee, simple black skirt and ballet flats work year-round, but the addition of a straw hat makes it perfect for August. What's even better, you can easily transition this look into fall by swapping the straw hat for a wool one and adding tights and/or ballet flats.
