Can you believe that Christmas is less than a week away? I feel like this month has absolutely flown by and there never seems to be enough time to get it all done. With our floors taking longer than expected, I've been so busy getting my home in order for the coming celebrations that I still need a few last-minute gifts. So, with budget (nothing here is over $100) and creativity in mind, here are 5 great last-minute gifts that I'm considering this season.
No. 1 | First up is a great gift that works just as well for family as it does for hostesses. All you need is a great bottle of wine and a festive ribbon. When gifting wine I like to pick a bottle that I personally love and then include a little note about why I think the gift receiver will love it too - bonus points if the reason has a sentimental tie. Also, another think I love to do is gift a bottle of wine with a gift card to a great restaurant in town. That way, you gift your loved ones with a wonderful experience and fun indulgence that they can enjoy either before or after the dinner.
No. 2 | Next up is a "gift certificate" for pet sitting. I love the idea of this gift for family and friends that live nearby because pet sitting costs can really add up and by offering your service for free, you free up the burden of them needing to ask or coordinate costly kennels.
No. 3 | Need a gift for someone who loves to cook? A gift card to a meal subscription service and a cute appliance of some sort like this rolling pin make a great gift! I love Blue Apron, Home Chef and Hello Fresh for affordable, high-quality options.
No. 4 | This next gift is one that I personally would LOVE to receive. For only $90 you can gift the budding photographer in your life with an online masterclass by none other than Annie Liebovitz. If photography doesn't hit the mark, you can choose from a remarkable array of classes by some of the top people in their fields.
No. 5 | Last but not least is a selection of homemade cookies that have been beautifully wrapped. My family has given this as a gift countless times over the years and they are always a hit - who doesn't love cookies? What I like to do is a pick a few of my favorite recipes and then make huge batches so that I can create customized cookie boxes or tins for everyone in my life.
