Happy Friday! This week has been a great one with lots of progress on the house (our floors are so close to being done I can hardly stand it) and the first discussions of holiday plans which have me craving all things Christmas. This weekend Jason and I are heading to St. Pete, Florida for work/a mini vacation and I'm going to try and vlog our trip. Let me tell you, this vlogging thing is much harder than it seems but I think I might be getting the hang of it. Also, this week I did an impromptu poll over on Instagram about which days you'd like to see videos and at the time I reviewed the results the winners were Wednesday and Sunday - thank you so much if you voted! Moving forward the I will have at least two videos a week going live on those days and I'm excited to have a locked in posting schedule. Other than that, let's get into the things I've been loving this week.
H&M X ERDEM | First up is a collaborating that I'm ecstatic about! Although I'll have to wait and see if the quality matches the elevated price tag, the H&M X Erdem collaboration looks incredible. Everything launches on November 2nd but in the meantime, the teaser video is so beautiful that I've re-watched it a couple times already.
FATHER OF THE BRIDE 3 | Even though nothing has been confirmed, rumors of a third "Father Of The Bride" have been recirculating lately following confirmation that a script does exist! As a lover of Steve Martin, Nancy Meyers and the "Father Of The Bride" series, I can only hope this is true.
GUCCI GOES FUR-FREE | This week, Gucci declared that they will officially be going fur-free in 2018! The luxury fashion brand declared that they will not use mink, coyote, raccoon dog, fox or any other animal bred or caught for their fur and I couldn't be happier about it.
CATHERINE PDV LAUNCHES A BLOG | When it comes to Instagram, I like to follow women who are inspirational in more than just fashion. For this reason, Catherine Smith of PLAINDEVILLE is a favorite of mine. Not only is she incredibly accomplished professionally (she's the founder and CEO of PLAINDEVILLE), she's also a multi-faceted women with wonderful fashion sense. Needless to say, I was more than a little thrilled when she launched her blog earlier this week. I already love it and I highly recommend checking it out.
HART EARRINGS | You know that I love statement jewelry and am always on the hunt for stand out pieces that will jazz up my basics. Recently, I came across Charleston-based brand HART that makes the most beautiful tassel earrings. These understated yet chic earrings are perfect for everything from a t-shirt and jeans to formal black dresses and I have definitely added them to my wish list for the future.
