Happy Friday! This week has flown by and I can hardly believe that it's already the end of October. With the premier of Stranger Things Season 2, I am so excited to wind into November with some spooky pre-Halloween vibes. Also, cooler weather is FINALLY here to stay in Charleston which means I'm switching out some of the lighter pieces in my capsule for my sweaters and heavier bottoms. I'm planning on filming those updates next week or very early the following week and I'm excited to share it with you. In the meantime, here are some of the things I've been loving this week.
I'TS THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN | This fall classic will air at 8pm on ABC on Sunday, October 29th and I couldn't be more excited! There's something so perfectly nostalgic about the Charlie Brown holiday specials and the great pumpkin signals the unofficial start to the holiday season for me.
EVERLANE LAUNCHES LOUNGE WEAR | You know I love Everlane. From their silk to their cashmere, they consistently offer beautiful pieces at a very reasonable price. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when they launched super luxe, cashmere lounge wear this week. These sweats and sweatshirts are the farthest thing from sloppy and would make a beautiful gift this holiday season - perfect for lounging around the fireplace or Christmas tree. If you're looking for pieces that can be worn in a more formal setting, this cashmere sweater is one of my all-time favorites.
MEGHAN MARKLE FASHION ICON | When it was first announced that Meghan Markle was dating Prince Harry, I was thrilled not because I like to follow the personal lives of those I don't know, but because I was excited for the endless fashion inspiration she would provide! Much like Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle has impeccable taste (though slightly more relaxed than the Duchess of Cambridge). I particularly love this look, this look, this look, this look, this look and this look.
BEST THANKSGIVING MOVIES | With the holidays right around the corner, I'm using everything in my power to not jump the gun too early on the holiday movies - I may have already failed though with an early viewing of The Holiday (how could I not though? The locations! The interior design! The clothes! The makeup!). That said, though I love this list of Thanksgiving movies and I can't wait to start watching them soon.
