Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear so I was thrilled when I received this gorgeous navy silk shirt for Christmas. This shirt is not only beautiful, but also amazing quality so I didn't hesitate to wear it during my holiday trip to Charleston. While in this charming city the weather was quite warm and very humid, making this and my other light weight basics the perfect pieces to wear. To keep me cool in the heat, I paired the shirt with my favorite J. Crew chino shorts which were a last minute swap for my black pants mentioned in my packing post. For comfortable walking I threw on my brown leather loafers and dressed up the whole look with my favorite Julie Vos earrings and blue and white silk scarf. All-in-all, I was comfortable and cool the whole day and will definitely be repeating this look when the weather warms up here in the city.
