Some Recent Instagram Saves & Outfit Planning

One of my favorite things to do is save cute outfits on both Instagram and Pinterest. As I’m scrolling, I routinely save anything that catches my eye to various board and folders so that I can easily refer back to them later. I love doing this when I’m getting dressed and this exercise has inspired some of my favorite outfits to date so today, I thought I would share some of my recent Instagram saves with you. I’ve rounded them up below with direct links in case you want to save any yourself.

@ParisiensInParis - I love this relaxed look and think it’s perfect for that time between spring and winter when you’re starting to get tired of wearing the same thing every day. I also love that it features things I already have in my closet and after loving my frayed edge straight leg jeans these last few months, I would love to add another pair to my wardrobe without the frayed hems but with the same straight, slightly relaxed cut. I also want to add a slimmer style in a lighter wash to my wardrobe as well that I think would look particularly good with the oversized plaid blazer and rich green blazer for another take on this look.

@EnisWardrobe - Oversized sweaters are some of my favorite things to wear and this look is the perfect balance of relaxed and polished that I personally love. I also love the contrast of the darker sweater and white jeans and think this would make a perfect transitional outfit.

@ChloeHelenMiles - When I find something I love, I really lean into it and wear it on repeat. This combination is one such favorite and as soon as I saw this image I immediately saved it to remind myself to wear it more before the season wears out and it’s too warm.

@WithAlexStyle - Unsurprisingly, I’ve been saving a ton of images featuring straight leg, light wash jeans and this next one is a variation of the one above. Instead of the turtleneck it features a black crewneck t-shirt or sweater and layered necklaces. I also love that it features a longer length jean than the outfit above and that it also uses printed boots rather than plain black boots. Small updates that make a big difference.

@ThePrimpySheep - I recently discovered Vanessa and I LOVE her style. This look is a recent one of many that I saved because I love that it features a relaxed cardigan, faux leather leggings and ankle boots.

No 6

@SSnard - I’ve been following Sandra on YouTube for years - I think maybe even before I started my own channel. I love her makeup looks, impeccable taste and fashion sense. I LOVE her style and the below look is perfectly representative of the modern classic mix that she does SO well.

No 7

@ClaudyaMoreira - I recently discovered Claudya and am completely in awe of her scarf tutorials and exquisite style. The below outfit is one that I recently saved because I have all of the pieces and I love how she styled it. A simple white t, oversized navy blazer with shoulder pads and scarf look soooo good together for a perfectly classic but modern outfit.

@JennyMWalton - In keeping with the oversized, straight leg jeans that I’m loving at the moment, I recently saved this look from Jenny that I love for the balance of classic and casual. A simple grey sweater, contrasting necklace, classic coat, distressed jeans and classic tassel loafers are perfect together.

5 CHIC FALL & WINTER LOOKS FOR MILD WEATHER WITH LILYSILK (AD)

Thank you to LILYSILK for sponsoring today’s post. Use Code Coyne12 for an Extra 12% off.

Today I am so excited to partner up with LILYSILK again for 5 chic looks that are perfect for fall and winter where I live. These looks are ideal for fall winter weather that doesn’t get too cold and each of these looks can also be layered up or down for colder or warmer weather to suit where you personally live. For me, fall and winter can range from the 70’s to 30’s and each of these outfits serve as perfect bases for adding or removing scarves, jackets, hats and boots.

The first piece I want to showcase is the WHITE CASHMERE TURTLENECK SWEATER. I LOVE turtlenecks and as soon as the weather gets chilly I wear them any chance I get. For me and my style preferences, they’re not only practical but also look so great with everything else in my wardrobe. I have them in a variety of colors and materials but cashmere is my favorite because it doesn’t irritate my skin and keeps me very warm but always breathable. I also love this one from LILYSILK because of the lighter color that’s in between an off white and pure white and helps to bring some brightness up to my face and lighten up my winter palette. This one runs big and I have it in the smallest size but it still gives that beautifully oversized fit that’s perfect for winter.

My favorite way to wear them is layered under a warm winter coat and paired with skinny pants or jeans and ankle boots. This is a combo I used to wear when I lived in NY and had to brave the snow and colder temperatures and it works just as well now for the more mild (but still cold) winters I have.

I also really love to wear this sweater with the same skinny black pants, cute flats and no jacket when it’s cool but not cold. This particular combination suits the majority of the fall and winter where I live perfectly and always feels so classic. It will always be a favorite.

The next piece I want to showcase is the BLUE RETRO STYLE SILK BLOUSE (runs big, I’m wearing an XS).

One of my style goals for last year and continuing into this year is to expand my wardrobe color palette and this blouse does that so beautifully. I love the rich blue color, high collar and beautiful silk that I think pairs so perfectly with jeans for a classic but relaxed look. This combination is perfect for fall where I live and can easily be layered up as the weather gets colder. You can see more styling ideas in my last partnership with LILYSILK where I put together 20 Chic Fall Outfits and I think it looks great with pants, jeans and skirts alike.

As my personal style journey has evolved, I’ve learned that I really love white shirts and have collected a variety of cuts, styles and materials that I can wear a variety of ways. The WHITE BOW TIE SILK SHIRT (runs big, I’m wearing an XS) is the most recent addition to my white shirt collection and I love it because the silky has a subtle sheen to it and it comes with a removable neck tie.

When I want to downplay how dressy it feels, I love to unbutton the top buttons, tie it at the waist and pair it with straight leg jeans and cute shoes. Much like the other outfits so far, this is perfect for the fall and winter weather where I live and can be layered up or down as the temperatures fluctuate.

Another thing that I’ve spent the last few months exploring more, is how I can incorporate light, floaty and ethereal touches into my wardrobe in order to harmonize with my face and elements of my essence. For me, one of the easiest ways to do this has been to choose chiffon and light silks and the SILK CHIFFON MIDI SKIRT (runs true to size, I’m wearing XS and Small) is perfect for this.

To incorporate some balance into the skirt, I love to pair it with a more structured top and boots, ankle boots, pumps or flats. For most of the year, flats and bare ankles are perfect but as it gets colder, ankle boots are just enough. If I was still living somewhere with colder winters, I would layer thick tights and tall boots under the skirt and pair it with a thick sweater and warm coat.

Another way I love to wear this skirt is to opt for the lighter color (it’s a gorgeous pinkish nude) and pair it with a lighter top and light shoes.

The airy palette works so well for fall and spring and still gives me structure and balance without ever feeling stuffy.

Thank you to LILYSILK for sponsoring today’s post.
