Today's post is all about what I packed and wore for our weekend getaway to Asheville, NC. Jason and I escaped to the mountains last weekend for some fresh air and fall foliage and we had the best time - we're already planning our next trip. Since you know that I like to pack light, I want to show you what I brought and how I wore it all for our short but sweet 3.5 day trip. 

Happy Friday! This morning it's a cool 52 degrees with slightly overcast skies. I've got Maddie snuggled up next to me with a hot espresso in my hand and I'm firing up my Christmas playlist because I absolutely can't wait another minute for all things holiday. With the spirit of the holiday season in the forefront of my mind, I'm spending this weekend rounding out some of my gift guides (which I'll start sharing next week) and enjoying these gorgeous, crisp temps. Until then, here are some of the things I've loved this week. 

Now that cooler weather is finally here to stay, I've picked up 3 new items for my fall/winter capsule wardrobe. Today, I want to share those items with you along with some of the pieces on my wish list - many of which I already shared in this post. Before I hop into the items on my wish list, I want to go over my new additions briefly.

Happy Friday! I'm typing this post from Asheville, North Carolina where Jason and I have escaped for a few days for fall foliage and crisp mountain air. We have some hiking, some exploring and of course some eating on our agenda and I can NOT wait! As much as I love being near the water and I don't think I could ever live too far away from the coast, I just adore the mountains and all that comes with them. I'm definitely going to do a little bit of filming while we're here so that you can see the amazing scenery and of course what I'm wearing, but mostly I'm just feeling so lucky to experience a new place. In the meantime, here are some of the things I've been loving this week.
