ON MY RADAR | No. 13

Happy Friday! This week was wonderful in so many ways. Not only did Jason and I get to take a mini vacation on Monday, but we were able to make a last-minute stop to see my parents as well! It's always nice to go home and the quick visit was just what I needed to get me through to Thanksgiving. Speaking of Thanksgiving, if you have any delicious recipes for sides or desserts please let me know. It may seem early but we're already planning some treats to bring. Now, onto a few things that have caught my eye this week.

HOW I'M WEARING MY SILK SCARVES THIS FALL + A FEW FAVES

HOW I'M WEARING MY SILK SCARVES THIS FALL + A FEW FAVES

Yesterday, we had our first glimpse of cold weather here in Charleston! Temps were in the 60's most of the day and the slight chill had me dreaming of my favorite ways to wear silk scarves in the fall and winter.

Even though I wear silk scarves year-round, they really seem to shine in the cooler months. Not only do they look gorgeous over sweaters and under blazers, but they often add the perfect amount of color and added texture to an otherwise neutral outfit. Below, I've outlined some of my favorite ways to wear this classic staple once the temps drop.

Today's video is a quick YouTube channel trailer that I put together to share what you can expect to find on my channel. In this quick clip, you can see a little of what I've done and where I hope to go both here on my channel and my corresponding website AudreyALaMode.com. To everyone following along, THANK YOU! I couldn't create the content that I do without your constant support and encouragement and it means the world to me that we're sharing this journey together. Thanks so much for watching xx Audrey

CURRENTLY COVETING: FALL UPDATES

CURRENTLY COVETING: FALL UPDATES

If you saw my Fall Capsule Wardrobe, you know that I'm approaching this season in two phases. Since our weather is still pretty warm here, I'm holding off on the sweaters and heavier tops and bottoms for the next few weeks or months so that they don't just sit in my closet unworn. Instead, I've selected a few lighter weight items that can easily be layered up or down with autumnal accessories to get me through this uber warm October weather.
