FALL TRANSITIONAL OUTFITS

Today I'm excited to finally have a new video live! Last week, my hard drive crashed - taking my iMovie library and some un-posted videos with it. I've been trying to fix it since then and fingers crossed it all works out, but in the meantime I was able to film and edit a new video featuring some of my favorite fall transitional looks.

Since I live in Charleston, we don't get cold weather until pretty late in the season so I rely on a few looks to keep me cool but fall ready. With each of these looks, I strive for pieces in lighter fabrics and fall colors to help tie in the new season without suffering heat stroke. Plus, each of these looks serves as a perfect base for more layers as the temps do drop in the coming weeks and months.

I've linked the video below for you and have outlined all the outfit details in the description bar for you as well. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you like it!

FALL ESSENTIALS I WEAR EVERY YEAR

FALL ESSENTIALS I WEAR EVERY YEAR

Today's post is all about the items I have in my wardrobe every fall. Since I prefer things that can carry me for years, I've had and worn the following pieces for the last 5+ fall seasons. I love these items so much that I'm sure they will keep me going for years to come so I wanted to share them with you. Below, I've linked some options that are still available and have wonderful quality. With the exception of a few things, I either own the exact items linked or older versions from a few years ago that I still wear and love.

ON MY RADAR | No. 9

The first day of fall is finally here and it's been met with loads of sunshine and temps in the 80's. Rather than be upset that I can't immediately bundle up in cable knit sweaters and blazers, I'm embracing the slow change into cooler weather and soaking up the sunshine. So, as we head into the weekend here are a few of the things I've loved this week.

FALL CAPSULE INSPIRATION

FALL CAPSULE INSPIRATION

Even though it still feels like summer here in Charleston, there's no denying that fall is coming. The mornings are ever so slightly cooler and the relentless humidity seems to finally be giving way to delicate breezes. With the impending season upon me, I've started switching my closet over and really honing in on the types of looks I want to create this fall. Like always, I put together a mood board of sorts to help me hone in on the look I'm hoping to achieve and it's making me even more excited for blazer weather! I'm putting the finishing touches of everything today and tomorrow and hope to film it all for you very, very soon.
